Mental Health Providers: What to Know About PPD, PPA, and PMADS in Black Women
A critical panel discussion focused on raising awareness about perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), including postpartum depression (PPD) and postpartum anxiety (PPA). Experts will discuss the unique challenges Black women face in recognizing and addressing these conditions, as well as the impact of loss on mental health. This panel aims to provide valuable insights, support, and resources to help Black mothers navigate these experiences with greater understanding and care.
  • What resources are available for women when they suffer loss?
